We know there are a lot of options out there for you to choose from. But we’re confident that with thousands of active users of Radio Station, our PRO plugin will be the go-to WordPress solution for any type of broadcaster that seeks to efficiently and accurately manage their show schedule and increase audience engagement on their website, which ultimately drives listeners and revenue.
Since its inception, in the free version of Radio Station, Show pages were generated for you when creating your Show schedule. You’ve also been able to create and attach Blog posts and Playlists to Shows.
We’ve gone one step further, adding Episodes to help your listeners find the specific episode of a show they are looking for and that’s helpful to anyone using a search engine seeking to find that specific moment in a show they want to hear again.
Where many Radio Station themes only offer Shows, we believe it’s important to segment your Shows into Episodes, so that you can benefit from the keywords and descriptions applied to those Episode titles and list out their numerical order. Coming soon in version 2.4.4, we’re adding associated topics and guests, which will help listeners find your shows by topic and track down shows featuring guests they are interested in.
Along with Episodes, we’ve added Host and Producer pages. Host pages are an obvious win-win. Everyone wants to follow their favorite Host or DJ. By adding Host pages to your Radio Station website, you can now expand the information related to those Hosts, give your listeners more engaging content, and create stickiness as well as additional pages to monetize.
Lastly, we can forget about the hard-working heroes who toil every day behind the scenes – the Show Producer. We’ve added the ability to add Producers to shows and give them their own pages if needed. We think Producers will love it because they’ll get the credit they deserve.
I’ve worked with a lot of Producers and been a Senior Producer myself, so I thought it was about time Producers got a little pat on the back!
